A private safe, central heating and an iron in our deluxe king studio were useful during stay. And it was practical with a comfy bed like sleeping on a cloud. The location was stunning, at a walking distance from a Kensington palace. The staff was efficient and amicable, always there to help.

Small hotel, very friendly staff
The room is very small when the sofa for the children is folded out.

The staff was very attentive. We were upgraded to a studio with full kitchen facilities. The hotel is very well located (near Paddington Station, several subway lines and near the HydePark) - we were in the park in London for the Christo exhibition. In spite of the good traffic connection, the hotel is very quiet and with many opportunities to drink cafe or have breakfast.

Location!!!!!! Hyde Park around the corner! 3min to Central Line and 5min to Paddington (perfect from Heathrow). Staff super friendly!!!
Standard room (room 309) unfortunately very small. And bathroom tight. For short city trips it's not really a problem but they could have been bigger :-)

The rooms were brand new and very clean, big enough (rooms are generally rather small in London in the smaller hotels). The location to Paddington station (express train from Heathrow and underground) and Lancaster Gate (underground) is perfect. It's a short walk to Paddington, approx. 4 min. and to Lancaster about 2 min, Tastefully decorated rooms. very friendly staff. The rooms had a small kitchenette and free coffee/milk/sugar plus Nespresso machine. which we used during the entire stay - very pleasant extra.

central location perfect for exploring paddington and hyde park
I was really impressed by how close the hotel is to Paddington. Plus, with Hyde Park just a short stroll away, I loved enjoying the park views during my weekend walks.

The room was comfortable and had all facilities we needed. The staff was polite and helpful.
It would be better if there were shelves in the shower cabin and a lift to the fifth floor

No comment, was only there for 1 night.
Although we had what was described as a refurbished apartment, I wouldn't say it was in good condition, the laminate flooring was in poor shape, probably due to being mopped and water seepage damage. The floor was creaky and the paintwork peeling in one of the rooms on the radiator and on some of the door frames. The panel on the bath was not sealed to the bath. The skylight seeped rainwater. We got our apartment for £220 but were told that we had an upgrade that would usually be double that price. It was very noisy and stuffy as it is at the top of the building. There was damage to the tv unit. I would not have been at all happy to pay over £400 for this standard of room. Basically it looked as though the redecoration was a diy job.

Location: Close to both Lancaster Gate (Central Line) and Paddington (Circle Line, etc.). This made it easy to get around London. Grocery stores, pubs, etc in the area. Price & value for money: Paid just £364 for 3 nights and we all agreed that this was really good value for money. (3 people to share the cost) Room size and staff service: We were three friends in a one-bedroom apartment with an extra bed in the living room. The rooms was of good sice and clean, although seemed a bit dated (this was not a refurbished room). Nice big bedroom, Nothing fancy, but served our needs well. Good service. The staff was friendly and helpfull all the way.
Bathroom needed refurbishing: Keep in mind that this is not the Ritz. We had a room that was not refurbished for a while, and thus the bathroom seemed a bit aged. No air-condition. No problem for us (in early April), but I can imagine the room will be rather hot in July.

For a budget price I got a suite of rooms - a spacious lounge / kitchen as well as the bedroom and fair-sized bathroom. If you happen to be Finnish then this hotel would suit you - the emergency procedures instructions on the door were in English, French and bizarrely Finnish.
The stairwells in particular are a little shabby and in need of redecoration.

100% recommend for short visits
Comfortable room, convenient kitchenette, where we enjoyed breakfast in our room and a quiet cup of tea at the end of the day, all while being just a short 5-minute walk from the nearest tube station for easy city access.
Couldn't have been happier.

This is the fourth time we have stayed here because the accommodation is spacious compared to other hotels in the area. There is also the convenience of having your own kitchen. Close to Paddington station (airport), supermarket and restaurants.
